There were a refrigerator, coffee/tea making facilities, and a dining area in the room, loved that.

Modern hotel with especially helpful and very amiable personnel. Decent sized and functional rooms with a large refrigerator, microwave plus utensils. Plenty of food in the property, casual restaurant. Very good stay, as always.

Thank you for a good stay. This is surely the best hip new hotel, pleasant staff, new-fashioned rooms. The location of the venue is marvellous, near many stores and restaurants, and shops like Target, Marshalls, Home Depot, Chipotle. Besides, it is 15 minutes walk away from a lakeside park. There is a casual restaurant on site.

It's a modern brand-new hotel with genuinely helpful and really helpful staff members. The location is handy and comfy, near to a shopping center and restaurants, and many stores - couldn't be better. The dinner in the casual restaurant is what you need.

I had the best lodging experience in years at this hotel. The cleanliness was exceptional, and the hotel facilities were brand new. It was conveniently located in the heart of a fantastic shopping area in the SF bay area. The staff were incredibly friendly and attended to all my needs with enthusiasm. The breakfast provided was great, and there was plenty of well-lit parking available. Transportation was easy, with quick access to major highways.

Stayed here for 2 days, really enjoyed the hotel, it was clean with particularly good and excellent location in the centre of town. Staff were exceptionally nice, room was functional and new-fashioned on the 5th level. You guys made my stay real good.

Location: the hotel was really close to Target within walking distance as well as shops like Target. Quick check-in, the staff assisted with baggage.

Good bed, large bathroom and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a microwave oven, and a fridge in the room. Magnificent and wonderful location adjacent to a shopping center and restaurants and the centre and shops like Target, Marshalls, Home Depot, Chipotle.

The hotel was neat and comfortable with strong wi-fi. Beds and pillows in my studio suite were nice. A microwave oven, coffee & tea making machines, and a fridge worked well.

The hotel was a brilliant base for enjoying a great area, near to shops like Target and a mall and a business park and mall. The venue staff was exceptionally nice and outstandingly accommodating. The location turned out to be particularly good and excellent. There was a casual restaurant nearby.

We received excellent value for our money at Towneplace Suites. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a convenient kitchenette. The location was quiet and close to restaurants. The staff treated us with friendliness and helpfulness throughout our stay.

Menu for breakfast could use a little improvement.

The Towneplace Suites in San Mateo is a well-maintained and clean property with newer facilities. The 2-bedroom suite with a kitchenette was perfect for sharing with my adult child. The location is convenient, just a 10-minute ride to the San Mateo Event Center. I appreciated the quiet atmosphere and the presence of chain restaurants across from the hotel's parking lot. The lobby had snacks and toiletries available for purchase, which was convenient. The staff was friendly and the front desk service was professional, personable, and fast. The bathroom was exceptional, with a simple and modern design that offered useful space. The decor throughout the hotel was clean and appealing. Outdoor seating areas were available for dining purposes. I also found the trolley provided in the lobby useful.

Felt truly spoilt, no reason to complain.
